Wreck blocks traffic at Fifth and Walnut

The intersection of Fifth and Walnut was closed briefly Friday afternoon to clean debris from an auto wreck.

A red Dodge Minvan was driving west on Walnut when it collided with a Toyota Rav 4 headed south on fifth, sending it up onto the fire hydrant near the Greyhound Bus Station.

Blytheville EMS, fire and police responded to the accident.

Crews form Fulks Auto Sales helped remove the car from the hydrant.

No injuries were reported.
