Billy Ray Gann
Billy Ray Gann, 57, of Manila, passed from this life early Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at his home. Born at Lepanto he was the son of the late Cordie and Alma Gann and was a 1971 graduate of Osceola High School. He was a former maintenance leader at American Greetings Company in Osceola and had been a Manila resident since 1985 where he was manager for the Federal Cotton Warehouse. Billy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Manila.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alicia Holliman, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Kaye Atkinson Gann, of the home; one son, Kristopher Boyd Gann, of Manila; three daughters, Krystal Marie Holliman of Grand Rapids, Mich., Kim Gann of Manila and Kendra Lesley of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Louis Gann of Fairview, Tenn., and Ronnie Gann of Osceola; two sisters, Elizabeth Pendergrast of Memphis and June Johnson of Marked Tree. He also leaves four grandchildren, Kohner Ray Gann, Cory Holliman, Lindsay Holliman, and Deondre' Holliman.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the First United Methodist Church in Manila with Rev. Jerry Pentecost officiating. Burial will follow in Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
The family received visitors Monday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Garry Jolliff, Dennis Davis, Jeremy Gann, Trent McCormick, Keith Moore, and Nicholas Lesley.
