The Christmas season is approaching quickly, and with it comes the annual Christmas parade, sponsored by the Greater Blytheville Area Chamber of Commerce.

The Christmas season is approaching quickly, and with it comes the annual Christmas parade, sponsored by the Greater Blytheville Area Chamber of Commerce.

This year's parade is scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2. Registration for the parade is set to end on Wednesday, though entry forms will be accepted until Friday for latecomers.

The parade, which runs along Main Street in Historic downtown, will feature various floats and marching bands as well as live music at the judges stand, located across from the Southern Bancorp parking lot, before the parade starts.

Odyssey of the Mind teams will be selling hot cocoa, and participants in the Blytheville Leadership Institute will be selling hot apple cider.
