William Herbert Henderson

William Herbert Henderson, 83, of Manila, Ark., died Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, in the Manila Nursing Center in Manila.

Mr. Henderson was born Jan. 31, 1928, in Atkins, Ark., to Alex and Maudie Henderson. He was a retired farmer and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors are four sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Tammy Henderson of Blytheville, Jack and Teresa Henderson, Tony and Terry Henderson all of Manila; a daughter, Debra Adams of Manila; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eddie Joe Henderson; parents, Alex and Maudie Henderson; two brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation was from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector with Brother William Piercy officiating. Burial followed in the Purcell Cemetery near Rector.

Pallbearers were Brian Tucker, Josh Henderson, Ryan Henderson, Chris Henderson, Bradley Jackson and Kent Holt.
