Oct. 19

Two dogs attacked a woman on South 21st Street, causing bite wounds that had to be treated at the emergency room. The dogs were last seen fleeing toward the 2100 block of Marguerite.

Two unidentified females fled Kroger after stealing $50 worth of candy. Police were given a description of the vehicle in which they fled, and surveillance video is being gathered.

Oct. 20

Milton Bell, 48, of 108 Kentucky, Apt. 1, was arrested and charged with DWI second and refusal to submit to chemical test. Bell was found to be sleeping in his vehicle, with it still in drive, and in an intoxicated state.

A window was shattered in a parked vehicle on McDaniels Street. $100 worth of CDs were stolen, and $250 in damage done to the vehicle. No suspects are known and no evidence was located.

An aggravated residential burglary occurred on South Ruddle. The offender broke through the resident's front door and demanded money and valuables at gunpoint. Stolen items include a Wii console, two televisions and $20 in cash.
