Recent reports from the Blytheville Police Department:
An iPad II, valued at $720, was reported as missing from a meeting room at the Holiday Inn. No suspects are known.
Officers were instructed to use lethal force against two vicious dogs who had reportedly attacked several people. The dogs were found in the area of 21st and McHaney streets, and officers shot one of the dogs before they both ran away and couldn't be located.
Five windows, valued at $55 each, and an air conditioning unit, valued at $1,000, were stolen from two properties on Kenwood and Maple, both owned by the same person. No suspects are known.
A burglary was reported at a home on Holly Street. Items stolen include three flat-screen televisions and a Playstation. All three TVs were located in an abandoned home and returned to the owner.
A shotgun was stolen from a parked vehicle at a residence on Illinois Street. The rear passenger window of the vehicle was broken out, with damages and missing items totaling to $1,600. No fingerprints were located.
