Olivia Kimbrough Riley
Mrs. Olivia Kimbrough Riley, 74, of Blytheville, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, at Advanced Medical Care Hospital in Searcy. She was born in West Point, Miss., to the late Judge L. Kimbrough and Henrietta Jordan Kimbrough and was a member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and founding member of the Harrisonites.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Riley; her daughter Regenia Thomas; her son, Bruce Riley; two sisters, Genola Brown and Gustella Johnson; and four brothers, Ben Talley, Earnest Talley, Judge L. Kimbrough Jr. and Monroe Kimbrough.
Mrs. Riley leaves two daughters, Clara (and Dave) Ryan of Aurora Col., and Mildred Houston of Jonesboro;
Three sons, Mike Riley of Lakewood, Col., John Riley of Aurora, Colo. and David (and Angela) Riley of Denver;
Two sisters, Virginia Rowe of Indigo, Calif., and Earline (and Julius) Pargo of St. Louis;
Five brothers, Jesse Kimbrough of Carbondale, Ill., Eddie Lee (and Ruby) Rice of Fairview Heights, Ill., X.L. Rose of Baton Rouge, La., and Roy Lee Rose and Oliver J. Rose of St. Louis;
One special niece, Barbara (and Stanley) Dean of Blytheville; and
Fourteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnnie E. Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the St. Paul MB Church.
