Aug. 11

Officers with the BPD responded to the Brown Shoe Factory at 2100 W. Main for theft of property. Copper was stolen from the building, wires were cut and pipes were damaged. Damages were estimated at $10,000.

Aug. 13

Durrell Rogers, 30, of 2321 Peabody, was arrested and charged with fleeing on foot, possession of marijuana, and possessing an instrument of crime. Durrell allegedly ran from police officers and was found to have an active warrant with the Mississippi County Sheriff's office when caught.

Nathaniel Moore, II, 34, of 805 Mayfair, was arrested and charged with public intoxication. Moore was allegedly found lying in the sidewalk just north of parked vehicle in an alley off of South Franklin.

George Merriweather, 21, of 312 Eastwood, was taken into custody and charged with obstructing governmental operations, and served with cash warrants from the city and warrant from the county for child support.

Stacy Kirby, 41, of 725 Clark, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Kirby had allegedly cursed at a BPD officer when he was found loudly in public with his girlfriend.

Aug. 14

Rakeen Warren, 20, of 2200 W. Rose, was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Warren was stopped by a BPD officer, and allegedly smelled of marijuana, 3 grams of which were found in the vehicle.

Miata McKinney, 20, of 419 Lake, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and no driver's license.
