Recent reports from the Blytheville Police Department:
Officers responded to a burglary on Kari Street. A bedroom window in the home had been broken and two flat-screen televisions, valued at $750 and $350, were taken. No suspects are known.
BPD officers responded to a residence in Westminster Village regarding a breaking and entering, as well as theft of property. Damaged and missing items, which include copper wiring, were valued at $10,000.
Residents at a home on Dougan Street reported the theft of two weed-eaters and a Craftsman blower from a shed behind the residence. Stolen property is valued at $210.
An air conditioner, valued at $2,000, was taken from a residence on Normandy Lane Extended. Damages to the home's garage door were also reported. No fingerprints or other evidence were found on the scene.
Employees of Hays Grocery Store on Moultrie filed a report on Angela Hicks of South 16th Street for allegedly cashing a government check in the store, then canceling the check and keeping the money. Hicks allegedly owes the store $674.
