Frances Burnett Hodges

Frances Burnett Hodges, 79, of Osceola entered into rest Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Memphis, Tenn. Born Jan. 6, 1932 in Booneville, Miss., to the late Frank and Mary Mann, she was of the Pentecostal faith, attended Keiser Chapel and was a homemaker. She loved gardening and fishing.

She is survived by her five sons, Jerry Burnett of Lake City, David Burnett of Trumann, Tommy Burnett of Manila, Russell Burnett of Caraway and Joe Burnett of Keiser; two daughters, Barbara Roark and Mary Owens of Keiser; 23 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Albright of Keiser; one brother, Billy Mann of Keiser.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elton Burnett; her parents; one son, James Burnett; one daughter, Patricia Rogers; grandson, Andrew Rogers; and two brothers, Gilbert Mann and Kenneth Mann.

Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 22, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Funeral services were 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Roller-Swift Chapel with Brother Huey Meherg and Brother Jerry Weathers officiating.

Burial was in Mississippi County Memorial Gardens.
