Grace Era Noble
Grace Era Noble, 87, of Kennett, Mo., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2001. She was born April 25, 1924, in Monette, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Noble; her parents, Effie and Ransom "Doc" Simpson; three sisters, Mildred Armstrong, Ona Boston, and Vera Cates; three brothers, Orville Simpson, Elliott "Gilley" Sims, and Freddie Simpson.
She is survived by six sons and three daughters, Howard Noble, Jr. of Farmington, Mo., Linda (Greg) Crew of Cecilia, Ky., Kathy Cavaness of Fayetteville, Ark., Jerry (Sherry) Noble of Paragould, Ark., Kerry (Anna) Noble of Kennett, Mo., Terry (Thana) Noble of Desoto, Mo., Tricia (Damon) Gamble of Farmington, Mo., Steve (Becky) Noble of Farmington, and Kenny (Jennie) Noble of Manila, Ark. She is also survived by a sister, Maxine Kemp of Little Rock, Ark.; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, and many friends who lovingly refer to her as Mama Era.
Mrs. Noble was a member of First Baptist Church of Kennett, Mo.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at McDaniel Funeral Home in Kennett, Mo. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, in the McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dale Rickman and Reverend J.E. Crews officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens in Kennett.
