Police responded at 1:55 Monday afternoon to what may be treated as an aggravated assault on Walker Street.
A local woman, Rlisa Whaley,33, of 333 Walker Boulevard, who had apparently become angry over an argument between children on the street, allegedly got into her car and hit a child on a bike, a parked vehicle and then drove the car into the residence at 325 Walker.
The child on the bike was unharmed, according to Capt. Ricky Jefferson of the BPD, but the driver and one other person were transported to the hospital for treatment.
When officers arrived, they discovered a maroon 1999 Mercy Grand Marquis inside of the Walker Street residence.
"Ms. Whaley had exited the vehicle, but was unable to exit the residence due to the fact that her vehicle was blocking all internal and external doors," Officer Eric Farrell's police report reads.
The juveniles were apparently fighting at 333 Walker, and Whaley told them she was going to "hit these kids," then struck two juvenile females, a truck and then the house, witnesses told police.
A witness told police Whaley struck a girl on a bike, hit another juvenile female, drove down the road and struck another girl and struck a parked SUV before driving her vehicle into the house.
"Upon investigating the scene, a bicycle was found in two pieces and had obviously been run over by a motor vehicle," Farrell wrote.
He said the 15-year-old bike rider had no signs of physical injury. The other two juveniles, ages 15 and 14, were transported to Great River Medical Center. The report said one did not have any sign of injury, but complained of left leg pain. The other sustained a laceration to her back and a small cut on her right foot, the report noted.
Whaley was also transported to Great River Medical Center for suspected injuries. The parked car received $2,500 in damage, according to the report.
Estimated damage to the home is $10,000. Both the car and the home were unoccupied at the time, the report said.
