The Blytheville Police Department has recently made several arrests in connection to both recent and older crimes.
Sytoris Holloway was arrested and subsequently arraigned in Blytheville District Court for burglary of a local home. Evidence collected at the scene was sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab, and new charges of residential burglary and theft of property were made against Holloway, whose bond was set at $150,000.

Terrance Dawson was arrested July 13 for the battery and rape of a local woman. The alleged victim told police that on June 29, she was beaten and raped at knifepoint by Dawson, but officers were unable to locate him at the time.
After his arrest, which involved a struggle with several officers, Dawson admitted to the physical altercation but denied the rape. He has four prior domestic battery convictions. Dawson was arraigned in Blytheville District Court on July 14, with Judge Shannon Langston finding probable cause to transfer to Circuit Court and set bond at $125,000.

Allen Stewart, who was arrested on July 13 in connection with the murder of Christopher Marshall, was arraigned in Blytheville District Court on July 14, with Judge Shannon Langston finding probable cause to transfer to Circuit Court and set bond at $1 million.

The Blytheville Police Department would like to thank the community for its assistance in the Marshall case. Several tips and calls developed the information leading to the arrest, police said.
