The following reports were filed recently by officers of the Blytheville Police Department:
On Friday, a resident of Dixie Street reported a burglary in which $118 cash and computers valued at $900 were taken. A door was damaged to gain entry.
A Rollison Street resident reported a burglary in which a computer, jewelry and cash, all valued at $2,800 were taken.
Melvin Lee Sharkey, 44, of 108 W. Kentucky St., was arrested in the area of First and Kentucky streets for loitering.
On Thursday, William Lee Cannon, 23, of 1112 Terry St., was arrested for obstructing government operations after giving police a false name.
Jushawe Northern, 18, of 515 N. 11th St., was arrested on South Division Street for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver after officers found a bag containing 12 smaller baggies of marijuana on his person. He was also cited or having no driver's license or identification, careless and prohibited driving, no insurance, not wearing a helmet and two warrants for failure to appear.
A storage unit on South Division Street was broken into and several items, including jewelry, worth $3,755 were stolen.
A Lauderdale resident reported a burglary in which televisions, jewelry, movies and a camera, valued at $5,850 were stolen. A door was damaged to gain entry.
A resident of Willow Street reported a burglary in which a television valued at $500 was taken. A door was damaged to gain entry.
A resident of East Sycamore reported being raped, beaten and threatened with death by a male companion.
A West Missouri Street resident reported a burglary in which $600 cash, rifles, televisions and jewelry, valued at $5,475 were taken. A window was broken to gain entry.
A resident of Kenwood Street reported that containers and air conditioning units valued at $1,800 were stolen.
An East Main Street business reported the theft of a computer valued at $380.
An office on Medical Drive reported the theft of a computer system valued at $800.
A resident of North Sixth Street reported a cell phone, valued at $600, was either lost or stolen.
A West Walnut Street resident reported the theft of a city-issued trash can worth $50.
On Thursday, a business on South Elm Street reported the theft of reels of copper worth $1,020.
