Marquita Denise Brown

Marquita Denise Brown, 28, of Blytheville, died Saturday, May 14, 2011. She was born May 23, 1983, in Blytheville to D.C. Mangum and Cynthia Jones Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father.

She leaves her mother, Cynthia Jones Brown of Blytheville;

Two sons, Jaheim Carter and Kemeldre McNeal, both of Blytheville;

Six sisters, Monica Brown and Patricia Ecton, both of Blytheville, Lakeyda Brown of Little Rock, Anita Hudson of Memphis, Brenda Williams of Olive Branch, Miss., and Jessie Dawkins of Chicago;

Three brothers, Herbert Brown, Gary Mangum and D.C. Mangum Jr., all of Blytheville.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at New Mt. Olive M.B. Church with the Rev. Lawrence Echols officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home of Blytheville.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
