Blytheville, Manila, Rivercrest try to make state tournament runs

The Blytheville, Rivercrest and Manila boys basketball teams will all compete in their respective state tournaments this week.

The 5A-East champion Chickasaws play West fourth seed Huntsville at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night in Alma.

The Class 3A Region 3 champion Colts play Region 4 fourth seed Prescott at 5:30 Tuesday night at Harding Academy, while the Region 3 runner-up Lions open the 3A State Tournament with Region 4 third seed Drew Central at 5:30 p.m.. Thursday night.
