Mona Lee Jones

Mona Lee Jones, 64, of Osceola, died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born Sept. 16, 1946, in St. Charles, she was a retired factory worker, a member of First Assembly of God of Osceola and a member of the VFW in Mountain View.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Ella Mae Carroll; one daughter, Amanda Gray; one sister, Mary Wells; and one grandchild, John Alexander Heugel Gray.

Mrs. Jones leaves her husband, Eddie Jones of Osceola;

Three daughters, Stephany Trantham of Mt. View, Angela Griffin of Osceola, and Shannon Thomas of Bay Town;

Three sons, Bryan Jones of Osceola, Mark Jones of Lufkin, and George Gray of Osceola;

One brother, Kenneth Brown of Osceola; and

Sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service, officiated by Bro. Jackie Wood, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola.
