Recent reports from the Blytheville Police Department.

James Hodges, 18, of 112 Holland St., was arrested Tuesday after Blytheville police officers went to a residence on North 21st to serve a warrant. Hodges was charged with obstructing government operations and resisting arrest after officers had to use their TASER to gain control of Hodges.

Kevin Stallings, 39, of 122 Dougan, was arrested near the intersection of Peabody and Harmon for public intoxication and obstructing government operations.

Melvin Lee Sharkey, 44, of 108 W. Kent, was arrested on South Lake Street for possession of marijuana and possession of an instrument of crime after officers found a small bag of green, leafy substance and a pipe commonly used to smoke drugs on his person.

A resident of Park Street reported that windows in the home had been broken with rocks. Damages were estimated at $500.

A business on South Division reported the theft of a dolly valued at $1,622.

A resident of North Second Street reported that windows in a vehicle were broken.

A Trent Road resident reported that windows were broken to get into the home where a television and jewelry valued at $1,700 were taken.

A business on West Moultrie reported someone had cashed a fraudulent check at the business.
