Mary Ella Austin Rodgers
Mrs. Mary Ella Austin Rodgers, 54, of Blytheville, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 2011, in Blytheville. Born Jan. 10, 1957, in Luxora, she was a homemaker and a member of Frontline Family Outreach Ministries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathis Austin and Mary Lee Cotton Austin Davis; one son, Orlando Terrell Weaver; and two sisters, Lorene Austin Dodd and Christine Cunningham King.
Mrs. Rodgers leaves her husband, the Rev. William "Sleepy" Rodgers of Chicago;
One daughter, Shakita Waver Middleton of Blytheville;
One son, William Rodgers Jr. of Conway;
Two sisters, Vera Austin and Lois Carter of Blytheville;
Two brothers, Mathis Fields Jr. of Detroit and Steve Austin of Jonesboro; and
Two grandchildren, Dorynda Middleton and Gabriella Middleton of Blytheville.
The family will receive visitors from 5-p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home in Blytheville. Funeral services, officiated by Mary Golphin, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Frontline Family Outreach Ministries. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
