Earl Galloway
Earl Elvonder Galloway, 85, of Benton, Mo., formerly of Leachville, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at his home. Born at Leachville he was the son of the late Rufus and Ida Buford Galloway and had lived in Benton for the past 20 years. Mr. Galloway was a retired farmer and outdoorsman that loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Galloway.
survivors include a son, James Galloway of Owensboro, Ky.; three daughters, Evelyn Cummings of Sanford, Fla., Nona Irvine of Savannah, Ill., and Cathie Cruz of Benton, Mo.; a sister, Lucille Gilbert of Calif.; 17 grandchildren, 38 great-greatgrandchildren, and five great-great-grandchilden.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Gary Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in Box Elder Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
