Billy Gene Gurien

Mr. Billy Gene Gurien, 68, of Paragould, passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He was born Dec. 20, 1942, in Keiser, to Frank and Florence Gurien.

Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Helen Johnston.

He lelaves a son, Matthew (and Holly) Gurien of Paragould;

One daughter Lee (and Joe) Roberts of Palestine;

Four grandchildren, Kyler and Alyssa Gurien, Angela King and John Tyler Poe;

Three sisters, Betty Kilbreth, Linda Phillips and Donna McCoy; and

His fiancée, Carolyn Smith.

There will be a memorial service at 2 p.m. today at Phillips Funeral Home with Dennis Strope officiating.
