The Armorel Tigers rallied in the fourth quarter for a key conference win Monday night, 45-42, over host Weiner.

WEINER -- The Armorel Tigers rallied in the fourth quarter for a key conference win Monday night, 45-42, over host Weiner.

The Tigers (9-11, 3-5) trailed at the end of each break, down 10-7 after the first quarter, 20-19 at halftime and 34-30 going into the fourth.

But Chris Clark drained a key three-pointer, Jason Lawrence knocked down some big free throws down the stretch and LaVonta Smith drained a jumper in the lane late.

Armorel used its run-and-jump press to fuel the big fourth quarter.

Clark led the Tigers with 18 points, followed by Lawrence with 11.

Taylor Ozburn paced Weiner with 24.

Armorel travels to Ridgefield Christian tonight.
