Randy and Harriett Jumper on Jan. 19 described to members of the Blytheville Kiwanis Club the positive difference experienced daily on their school campuses because of the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program.

Randy and Harriett Jumper on Jan. 19 described to members of the Blytheville Kiwanis Club the positive difference experienced daily on their school campuses because of the Positive Behavior Intervention and Support program.

Randy Jumper is dean of students at Blytheville Middle School, and Harriett Jumper is a teacher, gymnastics coach and PBIS coach at Blytheville High School.

They also showed excerpts from a few PBIS videos (made by BHS students) that are shown periodically throughout the high school.

Superintendent Richard Atwill (left) also talked about the PBIS program's impact on the other five schools in the district.

Club member David Cooke (right) sponsored the program.
