James Edward Lyons

James Edward Lyons, 74, of Caraway, died Dec. 31, 2010, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born March 5, 1936, at Memphis, he was the son of the late John and Mary Scott Lyons. Mr. Lyons enjoyed reading the newspaper and watching football.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Dacus and husband Herb of Cherokee Village; four sons, ames Lyons of Colorado, Chris Lyons, Barry Lyons and Joel Lyons, all of Memphis; his longtime companion, Mrs. Mary Deleon of Caraway; and six grandchildren.

The family has requested private services and disposition under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.
