Donald L. Streeter

Mr. Donald L. Streeter, of Nesbit, Miss., formerly of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at the Memphis V.A. Medical Center.

He was a graduate of Blytheville High School in 1958. He enlisted in the Army following graduation. He was a radio and television technician for 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eli Streeter; and his sister, Margaret Streeter.

He leaves his wife of 44 years, Lavone Benefield Streeter;

His mother, Tilda Streeter Kinnel;

One daughter, Tina M. Streeter;

One son, Donald Streeter Jr.;

Two sisters, Joann Jordan and Pauline Hasting;

One brother, Jimmy C. Streeter; and

Several nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services were held at First United Pentecostal Church on Germantown Road in Memphis with Rev. Steve Spears and Terry Black officiating. Interment was at Forest Hill South Cemetery in Memphis. Forest Hill South Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
