Ray Franklin McGrew
Salem, Oregon -- Ray Franklin McGrew passed from this life at the age of 61 on July 28, 2010. He was born on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, 1948 to T.H. McGrew and V. Allene Cullens in Manila.
Frank, as he was known to answer to, was a very kind, gentle man who cared about everyone. He loved his family, Masonic brothers, and friends. He was past Master of Salem #4, an Army veteran, and a 30 year employee of Meyer Farms.
He leaves his wife Patsy of 39 years; son, R. Frank Jr. of Turner; daughters, Bobbie of Salem, Monica of Salem, Ore.; grandsons, Jacob T. of Canby, Alan R., David E., Jonathon W. of Salem; one grandchild on the way; his new puppy, Freddie; sisters, Betty Kisner (Eric) of Leachville, Marie Dewitt (Jesse) of Black Oak, Ann Bowman of Tucker, Jennie McGrew of Jonesboro, Debbie Kisner (Randy) of Black Oak; and a brother, Harold McGrew (Jackie) of Honersville, Mo.
He was preceded in death by parents and sister, W. Jean Loveless.
Masonic services will be at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 7, at the Masonic Lodge Temple, 1625 Brush College Rd NW Salem, Ore.
Arrangements are by Virgil T. Golden Funeral Services, Salem, Ore.
A memorial will be held at Black Oak Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6.
