The threat of severe weather has once again caused The Greater Blytheville Area Chamber of Commerce's Spring Community Cleanup to be postponed.
The Chamber's Spring Community Cleanup had been rescheduled for this Saturday, but with a strong chance of storms the date has been moved to Saturday, May 15.
Citizens who want to volunteer their time to help with the cleanup are asked to meet at the Chamber at 8 a.m. May 15 to get their route assignment and supplies.
The Chamber will provide safety vests, gloves, bags and other needed materials for the volunteers. Drinks and lunch will be provided.
The electronic waste recycling at Walmart in Blytheville has also been rescheduled for 8 a.m.-noon on May 15.
The cleanup was originally slated for last weekend, before bad weather thwarted the plans.
