Buffalo Island Central School Board members hired summer staff at the April 12 meeting.
They are:
CPEP Academic Enrichment Program -- Lynn Smith, administrator; Coty Cornish, English; Linda Smith, reading; and Steve Brummett, math.
Summer School East Campus -- Johnnye Wallace, kindergarten; Faith Rolland, first grade; Amber Crabtree, second grade; Debbie King, third grade; Lisa Turner, fourth grade; RoseMary Clester, fifth grade; Janie Ibanez, migrant; Erin Clay, speech half; and Karen McClelland, literacy, half.
Summer School West Campus -- Tina Fowler, kindergarten; Patricia McFarlin, first grade; Regina Welch, second grade; Linda Craig, third grade; Terrie Selby, fourth grade; Stacey Qualls, fifth grade; Phillis Moxley, migrant; Erin Clay, speech half; Karen McClelland, literacy half; Administrator Dr. Kima Stewart.
Credit Recovery -- Debbie Olive, English; Ellen Cable, math.
Brooke Dunigan was hired as junior high cheer sponsor for the 2010-11 school year.
Student transfers were approved with Jacey Sneed, 16, from BIC to Riverside; Allison Mann, 4, from Riverside to BIC; and Taylor Shrable, 4, from Riverside to BIC.
The board discussed salary increases. Action will be taken at the May meeting.
The board voted to accept the resignation of Shelby Sexton, East cafeteria.
