Woodrow Henry of Manila was honored Monday evening, Jan. 4, for 50 years of service to the Manila Masonic Lodge 588. Henry serves as chaplain for the Lodge.
Henry was presented a 50 year pin and card by Worshipful Master Carl Brooks.
Brooks expressed his appreciation to Henry for his years of service.
Henry joins three other 50 year members in Lodge 588 including Paul Robbins, Monty Grimes, and W.F. Jolliff, Jr.
Henry owned and operated a parts store in Manila for 30 years. He later worked for 14 years at American Greeting Corporation.
"I worked nights for 14 years and was not able to be active in the meetings," Henry said. "I missed out on the meetings for those years. I am glad to now be able to participate."
The Manila Lodge, chartered in 1905, meets the first and third Monday evenings of each month.
