New Hope Baptist Church in Caraway was been serving the community for 85 years. The church family at New Hope would like to invite the community to help celebrate at the 2009 annual Homecoming Service on Sunday, Oct. 25.

New pastor, Heath Hawkins, will present the morning message starting at 10:45. He is a native of Caraway and recently moved back to the area. "Though I did not grow up at New Hope, joining their family as pastor has been like a homecoming for my family," Hawkins said.

Following the morning services, all are invited to bring a dish to the potluck fellowship in the family life center.

To cap of the day's activities, Heaven Bound Quarter will perform a free southern gospel concert to begin around 1:45.

"Church life has been such an important part of our area history. If you have every been a member or a friend of New Hope Baptist Church, we would love to have you come celebrate with us," pastor Hawkins said. More information is available at the church website www.NewHopeCaraway.com or by calling pastor Heath at (870) 761-3599.
