Eddie Lee "Bud" Malone, born Sept. 7, 1921 passed away Oct. 14, 2009, at the age of 88, at SMC Regional Hospital in Osceola. Bud was a retired farmer from Lee Wilson & Company.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Maggie Malone; three sons, Larry Malone (Brenda) and Jerry Malone (Linda) of Dyess, and Eddie Malone (Gina) of Manila; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nadine French of McGhee and Lucille McDonald of Fisher; two brothers, Clyde Malone of Fisher and Herbert Malone of Annieville; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Reba Malone and Betty Malone.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at Roller-Swift Chapel with Brother Clifford Britt officiating. Burial was in Rivercrest Gardens in Marie.
