Mississippi County Sheriff's Department deputies are looking for suspects who allegedly stole more than $10,000 worth of farm-related equipment over the weekend, according to a report from the Sheriff's Office.

According to the report, Deputy Carle Treadway was dispatched to Becton Bell's farm shop on Highway 61 near Bassett at 7:15 a.m. Saturday, to investigate the theft of a trailer and some equipment.

Reported taken in the theft were three poly-pipe hydrant irrigation units valued at $1,800, a 16-foot black double axle trailer valued at $1,600, and a 2003 Polaris Ranger 500 ATV, valued at $7,000.

Bell told Treadway the alleged theft occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.

Bell notified the Sheriff's Department that he had found the trailer and irrigation pumps on Saturday morning in a soybean field on County Road 317. The Polaris Ranger ATV, however, is still missing, according to the Mississippi County Sheriff's Department report.
