Blytheville Police report the arrest of a suspect caught in the act of a residential burglary Thursday morning.
Police were called to the 1300 block of Hearn Thursday at 11:35 a.m., where a witness reported the burglary of a residence in progress.
The witness told officers that the suspects ran around the house and back towards Chickasawba. Officers located a suspect matching the description, and detained him on Chickasawba, where they conducted a "pat down" on the suspect, which revealed a digital camera up the suspect's jacket sleeve.
The suspect was identified as Timothy Tamplin, 21, of Blytheville. Tamplin removed the camera from his jacket sleeve.
The homeowner of the residence that was entered, Martha Warren, arrived at her residence and gave officers a description of a digital camera and case that was missing from her residence. Tamplin was returned to the residence by police, where Warren positively identified the camera and case as hers. Tamplin was then taken into custody by police.
Tamplin also had some jewelry in his pockets that was also positively identified by Warren as being her jewelry.
Tamplin was transported to the Blytheville Police Station where he was charged with residential burglary and theft of property. Tamplin was then taken to the Mississippi County Jail to await arraignment on the charges.

Wednesday at 6:30 a.m., Scotty Hopkins walked into the Police Station and reported that someone had entered his vehicle while it was parked at his residence in the 400 block of Kay, and taken a laptop computer and his wallet. Hopkins stated that the theft took place sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. that morning.
The value of the missing items is believed to be $550.

Wednesday at 9 a.m., Angela Clay walked into the Police Station and reported that she lives in the 300 block of North Hollywood, and when she came outside to get into her vehicle and found the drivers' side door damaged and the vehicle entered.
Clay told police that the door would not shut and the only thing missing was a pre-paid cell phone valued at $50.
Clay stated that the incident occurred sometime between 7 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., Tyra Frazier walked into the Police Station and reported that someone had broken into her vehicle while it was parked overnight in the 300 block of North Hollywood.
Frazier told officers that a Sirius Satellite Radio and a car charger for a cell phone, along with 15 CD's, were taken from the vehicle sometime between 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday. Value of the missing items is believed to be $320.

Sunday at 6:15 a.m., police were called to Nuark Warehouse located in the 300 block of South Industrial Drive, where Charles Shubert reported that when he arrived for work at 6 a.m. that morning, he found some items missing from a desk, that some vending machines inside the building had been broken into, along with his supervisor's camper trailer which was parked inside the warehouse. Nothing appeared to be taken from the camper trailer at the time.
