Blytheville police are investigating the theft of a deposit bag from another Blytheville business, according to reports.
Police were called to the Hard Hat Convenience Store on East Highway 18 at 2:40 p.m. Wednesday, where Angel Stewart told officers that when she arrived at the store around 2 p.m., she got out of her vehicle and thought she had the store's deposit bag in her purse. When she got inside the store, she noticed the bag was missing.
Stewart went back outside around the area where she was parked and couldn't find the bag. She then went inside the store and called police. It is believed that the deposit bag fell out of her purse onto the parking lot where someone picked it up and took off with it. The bag contained an undetermined amount of cash.
