Johnny Howard Stanfill
Johnny Howard Stanfill, 67, of Manila died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was the son of the late Eugene Wesley and Ruby Lee Mason Stanfill and had been a lifelong Manila resident. He was the retired owner/operator of Stanfill Trucking in Manila.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sue Nance Stanfill, in 1997; a brother, Edgar Leo "Hoppe" Stanfill.
Survivors include a son, John Stanfill, of Manila; a daughter, Lisa Yancey, of Jonesboro; a brother, Danny Stanfill, of Cody, Wyo.; three sisters, Trula Ball of Camp; Pam Bagley of Lafe; and Donna Hallmark of Paragould; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Manila First United Pentecostal Church. The family received visitors from 2-4 p.m. Howard Funeral Service of Manila was in charge of arrangements.
