Bobby Wayne McGuire, Sr.
Bobby Wayne McGuire, Sr., 60, of Brookland died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at his residence. He was born on April 1, 1948, in Dyess, the son of Everett McGuire and Clara (Blansett) McGuire. He has spent the last 15 years with his family residing in Brookland. He was of the Pentecost faith and attended the Lighthouse Pentecost Church.
He is survived by his wife, Florence (Wright) McGuire; three sons, Bobby Wayne McGuire, Jr., and wife, Karen, of Jonesboro, Matthew McGuire and Justin McGuire, both of Brookland; four brothers, Sammy McGuire and Steve McGuire, both of Jonesboro, James McGuire and wife, Misty, of Harrisburg, and Kirkham Dendy and wife, Kathy, of Houston, Miss., an aunt, Iva Wilson of Manila; three grandchildren, Christopher McGuire, Haley McGuire and Gabby McGuire, all of Brookland.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 8, at the Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland with Brother Wayne Clements officiating. Burial was in the Campground Cemetery in Evening Shade.
Pallbearers were Bobby McGuire, Matthew McGuire, Justin McGuire, Sammy McGuire, James McGuire and Troy Wright.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Tri-County Funeral Home in Highland.
