Power has been restored to nearly all Entergy customers; MCEC still has about 150 outages.

Entergy has restored power to all customers in the Blytheville area who are capable of receiving power according to customer service manager, Paul Brewster.

"We finished on Sunday," said Brewster. "There are still a few people in the area that had damage to their homes or electrical units that we are still working with, but every customer who is capable of having power, has power."

Brewster said that the most of the crews were released on Sunday evening and left Monday morning.

"We sent one crew to Newport and one crew to Mountain Home," said Brewster. "We still have about 80 tree-trimmers in the area. They should be here through Friday."

Mississippi County Electrical Cooperative still has about 150 members without power as of Tuesday morning according to spokeswoman, Pat O'Neal.

"We are hoping to have all of our construction completed by Friday," said O'Neal. "We've been able to add two contracted crews who were released from Entergy this week."

Of the 150 members, about 50 are in the Blytheville area while the remaining 100 members are mostly in the Manila and Leachville areas said O'Neal.

O'Neal also mentioned that they have received isolated calls from members who lost power because of the high winds between Monday night and Tuesday morning.
