Roger Dean Thorn, 68, of Manila, passed from this life Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Born in Manila, he was the son of the late Orlan “Bill” Thorn and had been a lifelong area resident. Roger was a 1972 graduate of Manila High School and had been a longtime employee of the EIS brake factory, formerly of Manila, before he began working for Tenaris in Blytheville, retiring in 2009. ...
