Edith Riggs, 87, of Batesville and formerly of Dell, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022, at her home. Edith was born at her grandparents’ home in Brownsville, Miss., to Jacob and Velma Champion Gross. She was retired from Randall Company, American Greetings and was a caregiver. She always welcomed anyone into her home and always made sure they were fed before she let them leave...
