Opal Inez LaFarlette, 83, passed away Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House. She was born Oct. 29, 1938 in Delfore. She was a lifelong resident of Monette and a member of the Monette First Baptist Church. Opal grew up on a farm and farmed for a good part of her life. She was an extremely hard worker, regardless of what the job was. The personality she had was very outgoing. She was never at a loss for words and could always keep the conversation going...

Marjorie “Margie Ma” Curtis, 89, of Leachville, passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2022. She was born July 19, 1933, in Fulton, Miss., to Elvie and Heddie Mason. She was a homemaker and a member of 2nd Baptist Church in Leachville. Margie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she would sit in her swing and talk to her neighbors and all who passed by every day. Mary Jean Craig, 97, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Sept. 30, 2022, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Mary was born in Lawrence, Miss., to Amber Everet and Myrtle Clara Lewis Howe and was a resident of Blytheville since 1946. She was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. Mary was a homemaker and was a member of the Dogwood Extension Homemakers Club as well as the Quilting Club. She was an excellent seamstress and won many awards for her quilts...

Toncelia "Tonnie" Webb Moore, 81, of Manila, passed from this life Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
