Stolen Property Recovered

On Aug. 16, Sgt. Glen Teeter, Deputy Carter Lazenby along with the Leachville Police Department and Gosnell Police Department recovered a 20 foot utility trailer and two 2021 ATV's. Sgt. Teeter received information from Sgt. Chris Lassley with the Gosnell Police Department of an orange Chevrolet Avalanche truck pulling a 20 foot trailer with the anti-theft device still attached to the tongue of the trailer. Nextera Energy makes $300 million investment

By Marcus McClain NEA Town Courier The county finance committee sent a 65 percent tax abatement for Nextera Energy Resources to the Quorum Court during their Aug. 15 meeting. The company is making a $300 million investment, placing solar fields on 1500 acres of land just north of Walmart in Blytheville along I-55.
