Fire chief appointed to Leachville City Council

Leachville Fire Chief Drake Brown was chosen to fill the vacant Leachville Ward 1, Position 2, city council seat at the April meeting held Monday evening. A University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Mobile COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 5 at New Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 515 E. BIC board approves four-day school week

After a two-hour public meeting in the gymnasium, the Buffalo Island Central school board convened to vote 5-1 to begin a four-day school week in August 2021.
