Accident claims life of Monette man

A head on collision at 5:32 p.m. Sunday claimed the life of Tanner Stull, 21, of Monette and injured passenger Lauren Herron, 19, also of Monette. Also injured was the driver of the second vehicle, Michael Merritt, 35, of Osceola. According to the preliminary crash report, Merritt was traveling north on Highway 135 in a F150 Ford when he drove left of center and struck the southbound Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Stull.
