Martin Davenport left this world peacefully on Oct. 20, 2019, at the age of 93. He was born Jan. 8, 1926, to Reuben and Sadie Prewett Davenport. He married Laverne Pruett Davenport in Piggott on Aug. 17, 1946. He served on the USS Gwen in the United States Navy during WWII.
