Carrie “Carrie June” Alderman Harper, 71, passed peacefully Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was born March 15, 1948, in Helena to June and Kenneth Alderman. She was a full-time homemaker, farm manager, corporate executive, and once, even a successful campaign manager. Carrie was a loving wife, mother of two sons, and “Gran-muddah” of three “mighty good-lookin’ grandsons”. Carrie loved a good laugh and brought quite a few smiles to others. She was active in her church and spent the last three years of her life as a full-time grandmother and newly-minted Thunder fan in OKC.. ...

OSCEOLA – An Osceola man pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the death of his estranged wife, Second Judicial District Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington announced.
