August will arrive tomorrow and more than likely, all of the stores will be filled on Saturday and Sunday with back-to-school shoppers taking advantage of the tax-free holiday. I hope to be one of the bargain hunters. As a rule, I join my daughter and granddaughters for a back to school shopping spree each year. Hopefully, they will again invite me to go with them. Manila pool to close Aug. 11

Manila will hold Fall soccer and baseball sign-ups from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6; Thurday, Aug. 15; and Monday, Aug. 19.
