City getting new tornado sirens

Blytheville Assistant Police Chief Ricky Jefferson (right) and a Storm Sirens, Inc. representative inspected the city tornado sirens on Tuesday. The city is installing/replacing eight sirens. The 2018 North Mississippi County Relay for Life will be held Friday, June 1 at the Arkansas Aeroplex. The theme is “Give Cancer The Boot!” The survivor registration begins at 4:30 p.m. that day with the welcome ceremony at 6 p.m. The survivor lap will be at 6:30 p.m. and luminary ceremony is set for 8:30 that night.
