Mike Huffman was surprised at Tuesday's Blytheville City Council meeting when he learned the council had renamed the Ninth Street Field as "Mike Huffman Field" based on his many years of service to the field and surrounding park. Shot fired towards ceiling as Wendy's robbed Saturday night

Around 9 p.m. Saturday, three black male juveniles robbed Wendy's, with one firing a shot inside the restaurant, according to Blytheville assistant police chief Ricky Jefferson. He said the offender fired the shot towards the ceiling as the thieves demanded money. They fled on foot after taking an unknown amount of cash. No injuries were reported...
