Well, it seems I have created a monster. Last week I finally found the time to try out a recipe I had been saving for several weeks, waiting for the dandelions to reach their peak. I made the dandelion fritters.

Tink, the pet of the week last week, was adopted this week. Buddy, a beagle who has been at the shelter for almost a year, found a home this week. We will be at Petco Jonesboro this Saturday with our available puppies and dogs.

Mayor James Sanders and Police Chief Ross Thompson, along with several Blytheville City Council members and other city officials, met Monday afternoon with Blytheville School District Superintendent Richard Atwill and Facilities Director Randy Jumper.
