We do not need to add a new half-cent tax for the hospital. We are already paying taxes that go to the hospital and schools, etc. You can collect the money that is delinquent -- the unpaid property taxes and personal taxes. There were 36 pages of unpaid property taxes in the newspaper recently...

We are sad to report that Ross, the Great Dane rescued a few weeks ago, died. His severe case of heart worms and emaciated condition resulted in a heart attack. His foster mom called and said he had acted different for a couple of days, like he was agitated, and as we talked about this on the phone, he died on the front porch. He had two weeks of unconditional love from this kind couple, probably the first he had ever known. Thanks to everyone who donated to help Ross and for your prayers...
